Albert Sabater is Serra Húnter Associate Professor of Sociology, Director of the Observatory for Ethics in Artificial Intelligence (OEIAC in Catalan), and Coordinator of Studies of the Master in Business Economics at the Faculty of Economic Sciences and Business at the University of Girona. He holds a PhD in Censuses and Surveys from the University of Manchester, an MSc in Social Research Methods and Statistics from the same university and a Master's in Demography from the Autonomous University of Barcelona. His research and teaching interests focus on the study of population and technological change, socio-spatial inequalities, and methodological and computational aspects of the Social Sciences, using censuses, surveys, and Big Data.
