I am a PhD student at Oklahoma State University within the Integrative Biology department, where I am research student science literacy, communication, and participation in the classroom and beyond. I focus on understanding equitable solutions to promote student identity in science spaces and serve to support diversity and inclusion to all who seek knowledge. I serve on the Equity Based Teaching Collective advisory board (EBTC) funded by the Bill and Melissa Gates Foundation and assist with introductory biology laboratories as an instructor.
