My work lies in the intersection between science of science, business-management research, and innovation studies in middle-low-income countries. I use both theoretical and methodological frameworks from the science of science and network science to study the structure of knowledge production as scientific publications and patents. I’m also interested in how national science, technology, and innovation policies shape the direction of the production of knowledge and the scientific workforce’s capabilities.
