Nyathon Hoth Mai is a gender and climate change researcher. She is currently a Program Officer and researcher in the Department of Environment and Natural Resources Program at The Sudd Institute and a moderator for the South Sudan Women Intellectual Forum (SSWI). At Sudd Institute, Nyathon has produced several research papers on climate change, environmental degradation in the oil-producing regions, transparency and accountability in the Energy sector, and Gender and human rights violations. She presented these research outputs at conferences, and to the concerned policymakers.
