Danielle Dennis is the Dean of the Alan Shawn Feinstein College of Education and Professional Studies at the University of Rhode Island. Her research focuses on building teacher capacity in literacy through sustained professional development, the design and implementation of curriculum, and policy initiatives that enhance or inhibit educational experiences of children and teachers. In addition to being a member of the ILA Board of Directors, Dr. Dennis is a director of the National Center for Clinical Practice in Educator Preparation, and was a member of the AACTE Clinical Practice Commission.
