Jing Chen is an assistant professor in the School of Education at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. She received her Ph.D. in Educational Psychology from The Ohio State University. Dr. Chen’s research focuses on peer effects on cognitive and social development from early childhood to adolescence. Both formal and informal peer effects are included, such as collaborative learning, small-group discussions, and classroom peer social relationships.
