Introduction
Senior Fellow with Indian Council of Research on International Economic Relations. I worked at TERI on the execution and diffusion of greener and sustainable agriculture and wasteland solutions in India for over 20 years (with 15 years as Head of the Centre for Mycorrhizal Research and two-years as Associate Director, Sustainable Agriculture Division). So far, I have executed 11 research projects as lead Investigator and four research projects as co-lead investigator. I joined ICRIER in September 2021. At ICRIER, I am working on policies related to climate smart agriculture, environment, and GERD. I received my doctorate in microbiology with a specific interest in mycorrhiza.

My work focused on providing strategic inputs, planning, and implementation of projects addressing climate change, agriculture, wasteland management and their policy analysis, value chain analysis, impact and vulnerability assessment. I have also worked on large global projects involving multi-nation and multi-stakeholders, such as Indo-Swiss (biofertilizer project), Indo-Finland (Rhizocompost project), and FP7 Biorefinery network project from European Commission. I am a member of working group of “Circular Economy in Phospho Gypsum” constituted by DPIIT, Min of Comm & Industry, Govt. of India
