Introduction
Ijenu Benjamin is a Philosopher; Social Entrepreneur, Writer, and Co-founder of Benonee, an agricultural company providing low-cost quality seeds that make life easier for smallholder farmers in Nigeria. Prior to founding Benonee, he taught African literature at Abu College. He holds a B.Phil. in Philosophy from the prestigious Pontifical Urbaniana University, Rome, and is currently a graduate student at Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka. His research interests include identity, self, and personality in existentialism as a philosophical movement. Past projects include advocacy against the "Baby Factory In Nigeria", a UN Women's UNiTE Campaign to End Violence against Women by 2030. He enjoys activism against GBV, modern-day slavery, forced labor, and human trafficking at the community level, as well as addressing the root causes of food security in Africa.
