Presently working as Associate Professor at Department of Economics , Jadavpur University , WB India (on Lien) . Earlier I was teaching Economics at Post Graduation levlel at the University of Burdwan, West Bengal. I have completed graduation and Post-graduation from Jadavpur University, Kolkata and obtained PhD on Intergenerational Mobility in India. I have written on issues related to Social Discrimination, Intergenerational Mobility, and Agricultural Development. My works have been published in Indian Journal of Labour Economics, , Indian Journal of Human Development, Environment & Ecology as also in edited volumes. also co-authored chapters in several District Human Development Reports in West Bengal and delivered lectures at international conferences at University of Paris Dauphine , Paris and National University of Ireland, Galway, Ireland.
