Rasel Hussain developed his expertise in the field of Urban Sociology, Demography, Gender studies, and Gerontology. His research interest falls in the arenas of Urban Economy, crime, hazards, violence, poverty and marginality, Poverty and Gender studies, Demography and Gerontology and so on. He had handful of experiences about field research in connection with different INGO’s and NGO’s including icddr,b, Unicef, Save the Children, Nielsen, Plan International, Ministry of Health, University Grant Commission(UGC), Bangladesh Medical Research Council(BMRC) and so on and thus gathered experience in both quantitative and qualitative research.
