Dr. Pavan John Antony earned his doctorate degree from Washington State University (WSU) and has been teaching at Adelphi University for the over twelve years. He has been actively involved in national and international research focused on issues related to disability, special education, cultural issues , disparities in higher education, family, children and learning. Dr. Antony's current research focuses on the lived experiences of college students with disabilities. He has led study abroad programs from the US to India, Paris and collaborated on various researches focused on disability / special education with different countries around the globe.. He has published two books, co-authored book chapters and is the author of several articles in peer reviewed journals.
