The White House named Alexander a strategic partner for city innovation. He has managed governor and mayor transitions, leading to new innovation districts and STEM increases, and engaged 200+ startups in municipal accelerators to advance electric vehicles, cybersecurity, fair housing, and affordable broadband. As Chief Product Technology Officer and CEO Digital Services, he launched the SaaS product line for Planet Smart City, a real estate firm focused on smart affordable housing in emerging markets. Prior, he co-founded the US Conference of Mayors Smart Cities Institute, established one of the world’s first municipal data science programs, and shaped public partnerships as a growth strategy for companies. Alexander serves on the faculty at New York University, a mentor at NEW INC, an elected sanitation commissioner, and a deal lead with Princeton Alumni Angels.
