Introduction
I work on transboundary water cooperation, sustainable hydropower development, flood management, and the water-energy-food nexus. I am currently involved in several international research projects on the sustainability of river deltas, water security in the ASEAN region, and sustainable hydropower development in Africa and Southeast Asia. I have a particular interest in the question of how to localize the SDGs and how diverse stakeholder groups understand the meaning of sustainable development.
