Maribel completed her PhD from the School of Economics at the University of Sydney in Australia. An economist and an academic passionate about research in private sector development policies, social impact initiatives, business and entrepreneurship research (for profit, for social good), and small and medium enterprises development in developing economies, especially in fragile situations. Current research in mathematically modelling inclusive firm behaviour using game theory and empirically examining industrial policy implications.
