Sara Meger is a lecturer in international relations at the University of Melbourne. Her research examines the causes of armed conflict and political violence, drawing on critical feminist and global political economy analyses. Her research has focused on the conflicts in Democratic Republic of Congo, eastern Ukraine, and Colombia and has been published in International Studies Quarterly, Globalizations, International Feminist Journal of Politics, and Review of International Studies. Her book, Rape Loot Pillage: The Political Economy of Sexual Violence in Armed conflict, was published in 2016 with Oxford University Press.
