I have a Masters in Law and Diplomacy, University of Jos, Nigeria and a PhD in Development Studies from the University of Leeds, UK. I have been involved in policy studies since 2001 working at Nigeria’s apex policy research institute (National Institute for Policy & Strategic Studies), which I joined in 1989 as an editor. As a Senior Fellow and Professor of Gender and Development I work in interdisciplinary policy research and training of medium level to senior government policy actors, and have published peer reviewed articles/book chapters. I serve as a Policy and Leadership Trainer, Development Consultant and Principal Investigator on policy, development and gender-related collaborative research projects with national and international organizations.
