My research challenges mainstream legal theory by examining how colonialism and state power have shaped modern law and legal pluralism. My future work aims to unsettle these foundations, exploring how a cosmopolitan legal imagination can offer alternative legal identities and subjectivities, disconnected from traditional political practices.
