I direct a program on Labor and Policy Research at Cornell ILR’s Worker Institute, focusing on research and outreach efforts in the area of contingent and low-wage work, and on the impacts of non-standard work arrangements on both the workforce and the legal framework for worker protection. I co-authored the recently published report On-Demand Platform Workers in New York State: The Challenges for Public Policy, as part of my on-going research on digitally mediated work. My work appeared in academic journals and book chapters covering labor and workplace issues in health care, construction, and the arts and entertainment industries.
