Darrick received his AB in public policy and international relations from Princeton University (USA) in 2006, and his MS and PhD in natural resources from Cornell University (USA) in 2011 and 2014. He worked as an assistant professor at Oberlin College (USA) and a research fellow at Cardiff University (Wales, UK). He is now a lecturer in environmental politics at the University of Edinburgh (Scotland, UK). He has published over forty peer-reviewed academic research articles in the areas of public perceptions and engagement with environment and enegy issues.
