I am a second-year Social Policy PhD student originally from Italy working on the politics of well-being at the University of Edinburgh. In more detail, I am looking at what factors promote and inhibit the use of measures of progress and well-being in Scotland and Italy. I am the current PGR Representative of all PhD students at UoE, a role that I also held in 2017/2018, and the current Scottish Graduate School of Social Science/Doctoral Training Partnership Representative. I am also the drummer of The Holyrooders, a Scottish rock band. I can speak English, Italian, Spanish and, after drinking some wine, I can manage to have small talks in French and Swedish as well (skål!).
