Introduction
Oceanographer working with the international climate science community in the International Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) to undertake the assessment of climate science knowledge for policy makers. Inclusive practices are an integral part of our work to undertake a comprehensive and high quality assessment.

Working at the unique IPCC science - policy interface, I am implement management and scientific advisory support for the preparation and production of IPCC assessment products through the scoping, drafting, review, approval/acceptance, and publication processes. This includes developing and implementing a comprehensive and innovative communication strategy to enhance the impact and uptake of the IPCC assessment with stakeholders and also more broadly in the development of climate science education and literacy activities.
I support the coordination of climate change scenarios across the IPCC Working Groups. Other activities include coordinating the preparation of Summary for Policy Makers, including the development of synthesis visuals with information designers and cognitive scientists. I am also involved with developing best practices and fostering the long-term curation of open source software for figures and data used within the assessment.
I am a member of the IPCC Gender Task Group and work on the implementation of inclusive practices, collaboration and participatory group dynamics as part of the IPCC assessment process.
Prior to working for the IPCC, I was Deputy Director of the CLIVAR Project of the World Climate Research Programme, working on coordinated ocean and climate modelling, climate dynamics and climate extremes activities. I hold a Ph.D. in Oceanography.
