Professor of Environment and Development in the Department of International Development. Main responsibilities are i) Teaching MSc. courses in environment and development, focusing on institutions and politics; ii) Delivering and disseminating high quality research, including via Ph.D. supervision. Research focuses on the politics of environmental governance and policymaking, with special reference to making climate change policy more inclusive for local livelihoods and experiences of risk. More than five years’ field experience in Asia.
