Heba M Khalil is Assistant Professor of Sociology & Criminology at Nebraska Wesleyan University. She worked in the field of human rights, labor rights, and economic development in the MENA region for a number of years, working with the Egyptian Center for Economic and Social Rights and Regions Refocus, and cofounding Egypt Social Progress Indicators, and Social Justice Platform.
