Andrew Zhai is a Ph.D. student in Environmental Policy at Duke University, affiliated with the Nicholas School of the Environment and the Sanford School of Public Policy. His research focuses on conservation policy, forestry policy, and environmental economics, with a particular interest in designing and evaluating policies that promote sustainable resource management and equitable environmental outcomes. He combines interdisciplinary methodologies to address critical challenges at the nexus of environmental conservation and policy design.
