I am an economic sociologist with a special interest in international trade, specifically South-South foreign direct investment flows. I study the behaviour of South African multinational enterprises in African host countries and analyse the socioeconomic, political and cultural impact of South African investments in Southern Africa. I have over 20 years working experience in higher education, teaching and supervising postgraduate research in sociology, business management and economic history.
