I am a linguistic anthropologist (PhD, New York University), with research interests in language acquisition and socialization. My work closely examines the language development of child speakers of vulnerable and endangered languages, in order to support the maintenance of global linguistic diversity, especially in the context of migration. My field research focuses on the Himalaya region and diaspora in Canada.
