In the 1990s, Hiroko worked for a foundation affiliated with Japan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and enlightened on UN's literacy projects for Asia, raising over 10 million yen in Japan in 1995, 2.5 million yen for school construction in Cambodia in the same year, and 1 million yen each for India, Laos, Vietnam, and China (Inner Mongolia) through UNESCO's UNAM money vouchers to support the local education, and selected as a Fundraising Officer at UNICEF in 2001. She now will keep speaking lectures as an SDGs educational expert.
