Introduction
I am a seasoned communications professional, managing strategic editorial & digital communications & outreach for world’s largest indigenous school/NGO - Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS), in Odisha, India. Currently, I'm also working on improving access to higher education for indigenous students by mitigating linguistic barriers through inclusive programming & pedagogy. I hold a Bachelor's degree in English Literature from the University of Minnesota Morris, USA & Master's Degrees in Peace & Conflict Studies from Philipps Universität Marburg, Germany, & University of Kent, UK.

I focus on reducing inequalities and improving equity and access to higher education, by mitigating linguistic barriers to foster Indigenous students’ agency and self-awareness as communicators. I am currently working on establishing KISS-DU’s Centre for Writing and Communication (CWC), where I will provide strategic leadership & skill training on inclusive, multilingual programming & pedagogy, working alongside academic leadership, instructors, campus partners, & students to ensure that our indigenous students have the communication skills needed to succeed in university & at their careers.
