Introduction
PhD researcher (University of Cambridge) broadly interested in the changing dynamics of rural-urban livelihoods, migrant mobilities, essential work, social reproduction, unpaid labour, and the future of informal(ised) work in cities of the global south. Deeply committed to building community resilience, promoting inclusive urban growth, and safeguarding labour protections and fair work principles. My research targets sustainable development goals 8,10, and 11: decent work and economic growth, reduced inequalities, and building sustainable cities and communities.

Experienced in multi-sited and multi-lingual research (oral history interviews, key informant interviews, focus groups, archival research) evaluating urban development and policy outcomes & labour and livelihood conditions amongst informal workers in India. 9 years of experience as a university educator across four universities in Canada (UBC), and the UK (Cambridge, UCL, LSE). Interested in research agendas that actively collaborate with workers and their representatives to derive visions of worker power and social wealth through political transformation & capacity-building.
