He graduated with First Class honours in Social Work from the National University of Singapore, and obtained his Master of Science (Distinction) in Evidence-Based Social Intervention at the University of Oxford. Prior to joining SUSS, Nicholas held appointments at the Singapore Prison Service, Tote Board (Ministry of Finance), and the Innovation Lab at the Public Service Division (Prime Minister’s Office) where he applied Behavioural Insights and Design Thinking to improve policies and programmes.
