Recommendations are made in Chapter 15 pp. 204-210

Briefly, research findings suggest the following recommendations for children’s wellbeing to be optimised in schools:

1. PE is prioritised —acknowledged as one of, if not the most important curriculum area in schools.

2. PE must be Quality PE (QPE).

3. The key wellbeing development responsibility of holistic H/PE is associated with being “physically educated”.

4. QPE is the only label advocated.

Thrilled to be here on the first day of the event as a speaker, co-moderator, and to be able to bring the right into the discussion about setting up an international transdisciplinary (TD) department. Really, what would it be like to find tomorrow, instead of universities, pluriversities? And what would it be like if every faculty set up a TD chair?
