UNESCO’s sport initiative, Fit for Life (F4L), is designed to activate, integrate and scale smart investments in sport and quality physical education to drive social and developmental outcomes. The Knowledge and Innovation Network (KIN) is a cross-disciplinary group of experts that supports the UNESCO's Sport section in the design, development, and enhancement of policies related to sport and Quality Physical Education (QPE). With a focus on key areas such as disability inclusion, gender equality, anti-racism, and violence prevention, the KIN aims to provide guidance that fosters inclusive, safe, and values-based educational sport.
KIN’s objectives include building a collaborative community of experts, refining frameworks for sport and QPE related data analysis to inform policy and investment decisions, and advancing UNESCO’s Fit for Life knowledge products.
