SHORT DESCRIPTION

This policy advocates for incorporating the "Ho-Me-I-Ku" (Praise Education) method into Japan’s educational system to promote inclusive, equitable, and holistic learning. The "Ho-Me-I-Ku" method emphasizes positive reinforcement, celebrating effort over innate ability, and fostering a growth mindset in students. By focusing on students' strengths, it supports mental health, emotional well-being, and resilience.

Key objectives include:
1. Inclusive Education: Ensure all students, including those with disabilities and from diverse backgrounds, thrive.
2. Teacher Training: Equip educators with skills for giving constructive praise and fostering positive environments.
3. Holistic Development: Encourage academic, emotional, and social growth.

Implementing "Ho-Me-I-Ku" across Japan will improve student engagement, support mental health, and create an environment where every learner can succeed.
