SHORT DESCRIPTION

The Critical Studies of Climate Media and Discourse E-team works for the priority impact area – Human Development and Climate Change – in the areas of expertise – Climate Change, Capacity Development, Governance and Science to Policy.

The research activities of the team revolve around the policy dynamics of cross-cutting societal issues, particularly how governments across the world address climate change impacts, vulnerability and adaptation. The recent studies conducted by the team looks into the expanded role of communication outreach in increasing the ability of local communities to engage them in advocacy and policy issues related to climate resilience, access to essential energy and maintaining the local biodiversity.
