Seçil Epik

Editor and literary critic, P24

Seçil Epik lives in Istanbul and works at P24 (Platform for Independent Journalism). She is an editor and a frequent contributor for P24's non-profit online culture and literature magazine K24. She also serves on the core team of SUSMA -- a national network against censorship and self-censorship, which was founded by P24 in 2016 and is now funded by the Commission of the European Union. SUSMA brings together artists, writers, journalists and lawyers in order to raise awareness and help empower a wide range of stakeholders in the face of restrictions on freedom of expression. Seçil Epik is also a LGBTQ activist, volunteering for various groups and organisations in Istanbul.
