Bethlehem Woldeyohannes

Media and communications consultant and a writer

Bethlehem N. Woldeyohannes is a media and communications consultant and a writer based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. She writes at Africanfeminism , a pan-African feminists’ digital platform and collaborative writing project between African writers which aims to amplify African feminist voices. She also writes a weekly column on gender issues and politics in the Ethiopian news and information platform, Addis Maleda. Bethlehem is a passionate feminist who leverages new and legacy media to raise the prominence of Ethiopian women’s issues and experiences. She is an active member of the Ethiopian Media Women Association (EMWA), and holds an MA in Politics and the Mass Media from the University of Liverpool.
