Nadine Hoffman

Deputy Director - IWMF

Nadine Hoffman is the IWMF’s Deputy Director, responsible for supporting the Executive Director, and for developing and implementing the organization’s programmatic portfolio. She has more than a decade of experience managing international programs; before working in the nonprofit sector, Hoffman began her career as a journalist.
 
Prior to joining the IWMF, Hoffman was program operations manager at DC Teaching Fellows, an initiative of the New Teacher Project, working to increase educational equality for underserved students. She also worked as the acting director of the Leadership Council for Human Rights, a Washington, D.C.-based human rights organization focused on global women’s empowerment. Earlier in her career, Hoffman was a reporter for the Patriot Ledger, a mid-sized daily in the Boston metro region.
 
Hoffman holds a master’s degree in journalism from Emerson College and a bachelor’s degree in English from Gettysburg College. She also completed a human rights law certificate program at American University’s Washington College of Law.
