Dr Michelle Ferrier is a pioneer in digital content, digital identity and reputation management and media entrepreneurship. A former journalist, Ferrier is Associate Professor at E.W. Scripps School of Journalism, Ohio University. She is founder and creator of TrollBusters, an online platform that helps and supports women in digital media experiencing online harassment, which received the top prize at the Ford Foundation/IWMF Cracking the Code hackathon. She won multiple awards such as : 2017 Online News Association Challenge Grant, 2017 Online News Association Award, 2017 South by Southwest Community Service Award.
