World Press Freedom Day 2018

Kh.Naranjargal is a President of Globe International Center, a Mongolian NGO promoting freedoms of expression and media. She was an Executive Committee member of the IFJ from 1998 to 2007 and she is currently, Vice Chair of the UNESCO IPDC Bureau. She is also Board member of the Mongolian Media Council. 

She has conducted numbers of trainings in the country and Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan and her major fields are independent, ethical and accountable journalism, media and elections, public service and community broadcasting, human rights and gender reporting, investigative journalism, access to information, legal rights of journalists.  

She lectured TV journalism: Theory and Practice at the Mongolian National University (1995-1998), University of Humanities (1997) and Mongolian Press Institute's Diploma Course (1997-2000) and conducts a Drama Writing course since 2005. 

She is a playwright and a winner of two awards for the best stage scripts and she is a member of the International Women Playwrights Center since 2006.
