World Press Freedom Day 2018

Grant Masterson (MA (International Relations), University of Witwatersrand) is currently the Senior Programme Manager: Governance Institutions and Processes at the Electoral Institute for Sustainable Democracy in Africa (EISA). Specialising in Pan-African governance Institutions and processes, Grant has published several volumes including “Peering the Peers: Civil Society and the African Peer Review Mechanism” and “Checks and Balances: African constitutions and democracy in the 21^st Century”. He has been an election observer for the AU, SADC, EAC and EISA in 23 election observation missions.
