Edetaen Ojo
Executive Director of Media Rights Agenda in Nigeria
Edetaen Ojo is Executive Director of Media Rights Agenda in Nigeria. He has worked on Freedom of Information, freedom of expression, media development, Internet freedom, human rights and democracy issues in Nigeria, regionally and internationally for over 20 years.
Mr. Ojo is Co-chair of the National Steering Committee of the Open Government Partnership (OGP) in Nigeria.
He sits on the boards of several non-profits and networks around the world. He currently chairs the Steering Committee of the African Freedom of Expression Exchange, a network of freedom of expression organizations in Africa; and is a former Chair and currently member of the Working Group of the African Platform on Access to Information.
He is also Chair of the Board of the Media Foundation for West Africa, a regional freedom of expression organization; and a member of the Board of International Media Support, an international media development organization based in Copenhagen, Denmark.
