Head of Advocacy, Reporters Without Borders
Sophie Busson is the head of advocacy for Reporters Without Borders (RSF). Sophie is a lawyer and expert in international law and human rights. She has previously worked with the United Nations in Mali and with the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs. She is also cofounder of the United Nations Committee on Women in France.
Reporters Without Borders is a press freedom organization with almost 30 years of experience. It has a unique global network of 130 local correspondents investigating in 130 countries, 12 national offices (Belgium, Brazil, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Tunisia, Taiwan, UK, USA) and has a consultative status at the United Nations.
