Ricardo Corredor (Colombia), Executive Director of the Gabriel García Márquez New Journalism Foundation (Fundación Gabriel García Márquez para el Nuevo Periodismo Iberoamericano - FNPI), a Latin American non-profit organisation based in Cartagena, Colombia, founded and presided by Nobel Prize winner Gabriel García Márquez. He has a long experience working on issues related to media and journalism for development in Latin America, having worked with civil society organizations from Brazil (AVINA Foundation, ANDI News Agency for Childrens Rights), Colombia (Fundación Social) and the United States (Lutheran World Relief). He holds a degree from Javeriana University in Bogota and a won a Fulbright Scholarship to do the Master of Arts in Media Studies from The New School University in New York City.
