Alerts Officer, Southeast Asian Press Alliance (SEAPA)
Ms Kathryn Raymundo is the Alerts Officer of the Southeast Asian Press Alliance. SEAPA is an independent, nonprofit organization - with 12 members across seven countries in the region - that advocates for the protection and promotion of free expression and press freedom. She monitors and reports violations of these fundamental human rights. Prior to joining SEAPA, Raymundo served as a managing editor and senior staff writer of the Center for Media Freedom & Responsibility (CMFR) as well as a researcher of a news and feature television program by ABS-CBN Corporation. She holds a degree in journalism from the University of the Philippines Diliman, graduating magna cum laude.
