World Press Freedom Day 2017

Joyce Barnathan is president of the International Center for Journalists (ICFJ), a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing quality journalism worldwide. She helps develop and oversee a wide variety of high-impact programs that combine the best professional practices with new technologies. Under her leadership, ICFJ’s revenue has more than doubled. Previously, Barnathan served as the executive editor, Global Franchise, for BusinessWeek. She oversaw editorial content, managed product launches, created alliances, and ensured the integration of all BusinessWeek offerings across delivery channels.
