Abdallah Al-Kafaween
Media Information Literacy and Digital Literacy Trainer
Abdallah Al-Kafaween is a broadcast journalist and digital media trainer. He has a Master’s Degree in Journalism and New Media from the Jordan Media Institute and is currently working as a Project Specialist on the EU-funded Media and Information Literacy Project that the institute is implementing with UNESCO and has been training on digital media literacy topics across Jordan. Al-Kafaween is also Franc24 reporter in Jordan and had previously worked for three years in the news department of Jordan’s independent Roya TV Channel, during which he worked on a groundbreaking report about vote-buying during Jordan’s parliamentary elections in 2013. He also produced a series of reports on human trafficking in the United States for Roya TV during the same year. Soon after his graduation with a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism in 2011, Al-Kafaween produced and presented a weekly program on Radio Jordan that focused on youth issues.
