Tommi Karttaavi is Manager of Chapter Development, Europe, at Internet Society, a global organization dedicated to keeping the Internet open and transparent. Mr Karttaavi has worked in the ICT industry since 1994, his past employers include the Helsinki University of Technology, a major Finnish Telecom, the Ministry of the Interior and the Ministry of Finance. He has served on the Board of ISOC Finland from 1998 to 2012, serving as the Chapter President 1999 - 2000 and 2002 - 2012.
