Frane Maroevic

Director of the Office of the OSCE Representative on Freedom of the Media, Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland)

Frane Maroevic is Director of the Office of the OSCE Representative on Freedom of the Media since September 2015. He’s got over 20 years of experience in the media and international organizations. Mr Maroevic started out as a journalist at the BBC World Service (1992-1999), after which he became Spokesperson for the European Union in Bosnia and Herzegovina. From 2007 to 2010, Mr Maroevic worked as Director of Communications at the Office of the High Representative in Bosnia and Herzegovina, running the press department. In 2010, he joined the OSCE, first as the Deputy Spokesperson, and in 2013 as Senior Advisor at the Office of the OSCE Representative on Freedom of the Media.
