This multimedia platform is an Open Educational Resource (OER)

The contents are therefore teaching, learning and research materials that are reusable, adaptable, translatable, and can be freely distributed. Downloadable content includes the PDF publication on each figure and the MP3 soundtrack.

All interested individuals and institutions are invited to appropriate the educational resources on this platform to the widest possible dissemination and use, on the condition that the original source is properly quoted (i.e. Women in African History: an E-Learning Tool; CC-BY-SA UNESCO/[names of the authors]), and that all derived work remains Open Access.
