The Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission of UNESCO (IOC) is delighted to invite you to the first ever Ocean’s 8 Celebration which honours national ocean science champions in eight key categories.
The Ocean’s 8 Celebration highlights the upcoming launch of the first Global Ocean Science Report by the Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission of UNESCO (IOC). This ground-breaking report shows how countries need to work together to build the capacity in global ocean science needed to achieve the Sustainable Development Goal 14 to protect the world’s oceans.
